Summer Pass Program Available for Students
With the academic year finishing in June, the Janesville Transit System is pleased to remind middle and high school riders and their parents of the summer pass program.
The pass is a tamper-proof hologram sticker that is affixed to the back side of a middle or high school student’s identification card. The pass costs $75 per student and provides unlimited rides on all JTS in-city routes. This means students can use the pass to get to and from summer school; summer sports practices; the library; the mall; a summer job; or other destinations in Janesville. The pass may be used during the day, in the evening, or on the weekends. Summer pass program details may be found here.
Passes may be purchased at Edison, Franklin and Marshall Middle Schools; or at Craig or Parker High School starting May 29 through June 12. Passes are also available for purchase using the Infinite Campus online portal. Passes may also be purchased at select school locations during the summer months.
Families not interested in purchasing a summer pass may continue to use youth tokens for middle or high school student trips on JTS. Youth Token program details may be found here.
For questions about the semester pass program please review the program webpage or call JTS at 755-3150.
