Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalency; minimum 18 years of age; valid WI driver’s license (or ability to obtain one); must currently be WI Certified Firefighter I and II and have a current WI Emergency Medical Technician – Basic License; must have National Incident Management System (NIMS) Certification (100, 200, and 700 Levels); must have successfully completed the CPAT test within the last two years; be able to satisfactorily complete water survival, oral interview, medical exam and drug tests.
Requirements: to be trained as a Paramedic at City discretion; no smoking or use of tobacco products, on or off the job; continued employment subject to fulfilling these requirements.
Salary: Firefighter $42,922.88 and Paramedic $46,359.04, both with a comprehensive fringe benefit package.
